TopSpec TopChop Lite is a natural product made from chopped British alfalfa and oat straw, with real mint and a light dressing of cold-pressed linseed oil to minimise ‘fly-away’ and preserve alfalfa protein. Read more
It contains no added molasses or sugar coating.
It has similar nutritional value to average quality hay but with lower sugar content. Its composition and texture make it suitable for all horses and ponies, including those prone to laminitis, and it is ideal for good doers. TopChop Lite can be used as a partial or complete hay replacer if needed.
Developed and tested at the TopSpec Equine Research Centre, TopChop Lite is approved for use in all horses with good teeth. Combined with TopChop AntiLam, TopChop Lite provides a complete feed for laminitis-prone horses.
