Product details
The Bastia Synthetic Jump Saddle is designed for competitive show jumpers seeking a lightweight, durable, and low-maintenance saddle without compromising on comfort or performance. Read more
Constructed from high-quality synthetic materials, it delivers the classic appearance and feel of leather while offering enhanced durability, weather resistance, and easy care—ideal for regular training sessions and busy competition schedules.
Built on the proven STERLING fixed tree, the Bastia features a flatter seat design and an "A"-shaped head to promote excellent rider balance and a close-contact connection with the horse. Engineered specifically for jumping disciplines, the tree combines strength and stability with reduced weight, helping riders maintain an effective position over fences.
The saddle is fitted with synthetic fibre wool flocked panels, designed to distribute pressure evenly across the horse’s back while encouraging freedom of movement through the topline. A forward-cut flap supports the natural jumping position, while Velcro-adjustable knee and thigh blocks allow riders to tailor leg support for improved security, comfort, and control.
Supplied with a Medium/Wide gullet plate as standard, the Bastia Synthetic Jump Saddle is fully compatible with the STERLING interchangeable gullet system, making it easy to fine-tune the fit as your horse's shape changes throughout the season.
