7 Stud & Youngstock Mix is a versatile, nutrient-dense stud ration formulated to provide comprehensive nutritional support for breeding stock and growing young horses. Combining the benefits of a traditional oat-based mix with a scientifically balanced formulation, it is suitable for pregnant and lactating mares, foals and youngstock of all ages, as well as covering stallions.

Made with high-quality oats, this appetising mix is ideal for encouraging fussy feeders while providing excellent-quality protein to support muscle and tissue development and repair. A carefully developed vitamin and mineral profile supports healthy growth, with chelated minerals and important antioxidants included to provide additional nutritional support.

Stud & Youngstock Mix can also be fed alongside Baileys Stud Balancer to provide greater flexibility when managing the overall calorie content of the diet. For example, the mix can be fed at a reduced rate to better-doing horses while Stud Balancer helps maintain essential vitamin and mineral intake.

Feeding Recommendations:

Feed according to the horse's actual bodyweight or the anticipated mature bodyweight of youngstock, alongside good-quality forage. For youngsters, the anticipated mature bodyweight can be estimated using the bodyweight of the dam and/or sire as a guide.
