Quality protein sources supply essential amino acids to build and repair muscles, tendons, and hooves, while added linseed provides Omega-3 fatty acids for supple skin and a shiny coat. The formula has been subtly improved without increasing the overall calorie (DE) content.
Lo-Cal Balancer's superior vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant content supports overall health and includes chelated minerals for better absorption. Healthy levels of biotin (30 mg/kg) and other nutrients encourage strong hoof growth.
With low starch and sugar levels, Lo-Cal Balancer is suitable for horses prone to laminitis. Protected probiotic yeast and Digest Plus prebiotic support fibre-digesting bacteria, gut health, and digestive efficiency. It can be fed as the sole concentrate, alongside forage, or combined with reduced quantities of other hard feeds to provide a fully balanced diet.
