It combines highly bioavailable sources of magnesium with B vitamins, vitamin C, minerals and amino acids, alongside natural peppermint to support digestion and palatability.

As horses age, travelling, competing, training, handling and changes in their environment can become more challenging. Vetrocalm Senior provides targeted nutritional support to help replenish magnesium and amino acids that may be depleted during periods of stress, helping your senior horse cope with challenging situations and maintain a calm, balanced response.

Its easily digestible formula is specifically suited to the older horse and is formulated using SOBF (Specially Optimised Bioavailable Formula) technology to support optimal absorption. It is also free from banned substances, making it suitable for competition use.

Composition: Magnesium sulphate, magnesium chelate, sodium chloride and peppermint (0.5%).

Additives: Tryptophan 50,000mg/kg, vitamin B3 (niacin) 2,000mg/kg, vitamin B1 500mg/kg, vitamin B6 500mg/kg and vitamin C 14,300mg/kg.

Feeding Guide:

Loading dose — up to 7 days or until a response is seen:

• Small (<300kg): 3 scoops daily
• Medium (300–600kg): 6 scoops daily
• Large (>600kg): 9 scoops daily

Maintenance dose:

• Small (<300kg): ½ scoop daily
• Medium (300–600kg): 1 scoop daily
• Large (>600kg): 1½ scoops daily

One level 10ml scoop provides approximately 10g. Where practical, split the daily serving between morning and evening feeds. Ensure fresh water and forage are always available.

Results may be noticed within 2–5 days, although some horses may take 6–10 days to respond.
