Designed with a mild lever action which causes the cheeks to tilt forwards and the mouthpiece to lift up, making it effective for horses or ponies that are strung out or poke their nose.
It's especially useful for the child or novice rider who ds not possess either the technique or strength in the leg to achieve and maintain a correct round outline. Also helps with turning and downwards transitions.
