These high-fibre, low-sugar, low-starch, and low-calorie cobs are produced from mature plants, which are coarsely chopped, high-temperature dried using renewable biomass energy, and pressed into chunky, easy-to-soak cobs.

Natural Meadow Cobs contain no added vitamins or minerals, making them an ideal additional fibre source to complement any already balanced diet without causing nutritional imbalance. They are free from molasses, grain, and alfalfa, containing only low levels of naturally occurring sugars. Harvested at peak fibre content, they provide higher levels of structural fibre than many other soaked fibre feeds, making them an excellent option for replacing long forage such as hay, haylage, or grass.

When can they be fed?

• Alongside any existing balanced diet
• As a replacement for, or in addition to, beet, chaff, or unbalanced fibre mashes
• As a “bulker” when feeding a balancer
• As a full or partial forage replacement or fibre alternative
• Suitable for all types of horses and ponies
