About the product
Equilibrium have designed their all sports boot to be a great all-rounder choice for any discipline. Extremely light and breathable they feature the Airlite triple layer system and Inner polycarbonate layer over the tendons for additional protection. It’s a hybrid boot which can be worn on both the hind or front legs.
What were your first impressions?
Kirsty: “The outer look of the boots look very different to your standard boot, but I like how it covers the entire leg (inside, outside, front and back)”
Meg: “The weight of these boots completely took me by surprise! The EVA foam is super flexible and you can even see daylight through the holes which assures be they will be breathable when being worn.”
How did you find the sizing and fit?
Kirsty: “I found these boots slightly on the larger size when compared to other brands. I bought a smaller pair for the front legs than for the back.”
Meg: “Once on the legs, these boots fit like a glove. I didn’t have to worry about them slipping down whilst in the school or out hacking.”
How did you test the product?
Kirsty: “The boots have already been scientifically tested so I was confident that they would give the ultimate protection for my horse so stuck them on as soon as I got them”
Meg: “Similar to Kirsty, I had already read up about these boots so I was excited to take them for a test ride! As previously stated, I didn’t have a problem with them slipping down. I’ve used them for lunging, schooling and hacking through all terrain and they still look brand new after a rinse down. Due to the technical material, the boots don’t hold any water so are perfect for beach rides or walking through streams whilst hacking”
What was your favourite feature?
Kirsty: “All-round protection and breathability. My horse usually gets sweaty legs, but not with these boots!”
Meg: “I completely agree with Kirsty, these boots are my new go-to! The range of colours is fantastic, I love the more muted tones so the black and brown pairs are perfect for everyday use”
